To All The Guys I've Ever Loved Before

To All The Boys I've Ever Loved Before
By: Jenny Han

Blurb: Lara Jean keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren't love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she's written. One for every boy she's ever loved-five in all. When she writes, she can pour out her heart and soul and say all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly Lara Jean's love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

My view: Soooooooooooooooooooo many plot twists, it's so crazy ( can I say crazier than count Olaf). It is so beautifully written in so many ways. You fall in love with the literature and the characters. The book makes you believe the young love you experience if you did is some what like this unlikely love story.  And if you like this book you can read the second.

To Kill A Mockingbird

To Kill A Mockingbird
By: Harper Lee

Blurb: A gripping,heart-wrenching, and wholly remarkable coming-of-age tale in a South poisoned by virulent prejudice, it views a world of great beauty and savage inequities through the eyes of a young girl, as her father-a crusading local lawyer-risks everything to defend an African American unjustly accused of a terrible crime.

My view:  Harper Lee writing in this book is amazing. Just when you think you have this book figured out something new is brought out of the shadows. Plot twists all over the place. This book is such a classic, you could read it over and over. It brings sight you never really thought about come into view.

Divergent

Divergent
By: Veronica Roth

Blurb: One choice decides your friends. One choice defines your beliefs. One choice determines your loyalties forever. One choice can transform you.

My view: read it to find out all the fuss. The movies don't do this book justice.

Looking for Alaska

Looking for Alaska

By:John Green

Blurb: Before.  Miles "Pudge" Halter's whole existence has been one big nonevent, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave the "Great Perhaps" (François Rabelais, Poet) even more. He heads off to the sometimes crazy, possibly unstable, and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self destructive, screwed up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young, who is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart.
After. Nothing is ever the same.

My view: This book such like (TFIOS) also written by John Green makes you feel every emotion. When the plot makes you sad he hits you with humor. You fall in love with Pudge's and Alaska's friendship. They are always their for each other. This book is extremely heart wrenching and heartbreaking but at the same time is light and playful. Prepare yourself to take the plunges that come your way in this storyline and the plot twists that come your way.

The Fault in Our Stars

The Fault in Our Stars
By: John Green
Blurb: Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.

My view: This book makes you feel every emotion. If you have never read anything written by John Green start with this book. The way he writes makes  you fall in love with the words he displays on the paper. You fall in love with the characters and the life they live in the pages within the book. John Green has written other books, so if you love this one you can pick up another one of his books.

Uglies

Uglies
By: Scott Westerfeld
Blurb:Tally is about to turn sixteen, and she can't wait. In just a few weeks she'll have the operation that will turn her from a repellent ugly into a stunningly attractive pretty. And as a pretty, she'll be catapulted into a high tech paradise where her only job is to have fun.
But Tally's new friend Shay isn't sure she wants to become a pretty. When Shay runs away, Tally learns about a whole new side of the pretty world - and it isn't very pretty. The authorities offer Tally a choice: find her friend and turn her in, or never turn pretty at all. Tally's choice will change her wold forever.
My view: The way the book was written shows how she may not be beautiful on the outside but beautiful on the inside. He makes sure you can see the want that the people have to be considered pretty. For me it shows how easily this could happen in our world today, how many people only care about how they look. Tally's journey throughout the book will make you want to read more and lucky for us it's the first book in a series of four.

The Giver

The Giver By Lois Lowry
Summary: Jonas's world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the community.
When Jonas turned twelve, he is singled out to receive special training from the Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of the true pain and pleasure of life. Now it's time for Jonas to receive the truth. There is no turning back.
My view: The book is written so beautifully and shows views in every aspect. Jonas (the main character) shows growth and development throughout the unfolding of this story. His growth as a character just makes you fall in love with him and how Lowry writes him a magnificent storyline. If you liked the book then catch the movie it is one of the closest movies to the book I have ever seen.

Matched

Matched

By:Ally Condie

Blurb: When Cassia is matched with the person she is supposed to marry something goes wrong? Two faces appear on the screen who is she supposed to choose or notice.

Will she go with who she was originally matched with or the other? There is a massive love triangle (can I say biggest is The Hunger Games). The way the world is set shows a perspective on the world now.  This book  is the first of three and shows a dystopian society. The heroin is strong (shout out to Hermione the true MVP). The story makes you think that if the world was actually like this would we end up with people we really love.

The Heartbreakers

When Stella a triplet wants to give her cancer stricken sister a fantastic gift of meeting her favorite band. When one of the band members is struck by cupids arrow and wants her to stay and do photography for the band. Will Stella take this opportunity? This book makes you want to keep reading. I don't believe that I ever put the book down. There happens to be a hurricane of emotions.

The Elite

                                                         The Elite
                                                  By: Kiera Cass
Blurb: Now with the group narrowed down to six Elite, the competition to win Prince Maxon's heart is fiercer than ever-and America is still struggling to decide where her heart truly lies.is it with Maxon, who could make her life a fairy tale? Or with her first love, Aspen? America is desperate for more time. But the rest of the Elite know exactly what they want-and America's chance to choose is about to slip away.
This is the second book in the Selection series. This story still fallows America and the romance between her and Prince Maxon. America struggles to figure out who she wants to be with in the end. Tension in the palace gets stronger while the final six girls are left to become a princess. If you missed America and Maxon this is the book for you. Get reconnected with the rollercoaster of a romance that has been placed in front of you. DANGER you will have feels in every department.

The Selection

The Selection
by: Kiera Cass
Summary: The Opportunity to be swept up into the world of gowns and jewels. A competition to live in the palace and earn the heart of the handsome prince Maxon (asdfghjkl). But for America Singer, being selected is a nightmare. It means leaving her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste lower than her, and leaving home to compete for a crown she doesn't want. Then America meets Maxon, she gradually begins to realize that the life she always dreamed of may or may not compare to a future she never imagined.
In the story, America who doesn't want her life to change gets on a rollercoaster of change. She is who you root for to become a princess. I personally loved this book because I felt like she was relatable(being a feisty redhead like me). This book throws you in loops of emotion and plot twists everywhere, making you want to read more and not put the book down. If you like this book this is the first book in a series of five books.
rating:(drumroll) 15/10 stars

Where she went

                                                 Where she Went
                                             By: Gayle Forman
Summary: Adam is a rock star and Mia is a cellist that went Julliard and one day they bump into each other. Will the old feelings come back to each other, or will they go unnoticed.
This is the second and final book in the "If I Stay" series. While in "If I Stay" was told in Mia's point of view and based around the accident that killed her parents and her brother, "Where She Went" is in Adam's point of view and in the future, about how he is dealing with his emotions. The story was filled with wonder and hope for the couple to be together again.

The book its overall an amazing book. The book is about this boy and girl that start talking in chemistry by writing on the desk and slipping letters under the desk. When they find out who each other is their life gets turned upside down. The story is jammed packed with action and plot twists everywhere. Every time you think your getting pulled one way it goes the completely opposite way. I got the book from my owlcrate.
